qigong (気功 kikou in japanese) is the art of practicing the flow of
"qi 気" in your body, to achieve balance and to cure all kinds of
illness, including cancers that are deemed incurable by western doctors.
one problem with western medical theory is that human beings are classified
as either sick or health, where in fact the majority of people are in the state
of not sick but half way there. no doctor will give you a shot because you
are feeling fatigue or stressed. the so-called nutrition supplement drugs
(vitamins) claim to fill that void by improving our body, i don't question that
(in fact some of my friends are doing really well on that), but i prefer qigong
much more. instead of relying on external forces, it feels much more
natural and simpler to encourage your own body to do the work. every
person's body is different, instead of trusting some universal solution, why not
let your body to cure itself? after all, only your body knows itself the
best.
the problem with qigong is that there are too many fake masters. it is
almost like a religion, sometimes the feeling is self inducing. how to
find a genuine teacher is not easy.
